Notify Me is a Chrome Extension that monitors a specified queue and alerts you with an Audible and Visual alert when a new ticket is received. This article will cover the sections below. The Notify Me extension is currently only available to Chat agents.
- Remove “Notify Me” for previous installs
- Install “Notify Me” Chrome Extension
- Configuring "Notify Me" extension
"Notify Me" is currently only available to Chat and Messaging agents.
Remove “Notify Me” for previous installs
- Open your Chrome browser.
- Right Click on the Notify Me
- Select Remove from Chrome.
- Click Remove
- Close all your Chrome windows
Install “Notify Me” Chrome Extension
- Click on Notify Me to open the installation page
- Click on the Add to Chrome button.
- Click Add extension.
- Close the Notification window.
- Pin the Notify Me extension so that it appears on your shortcuts. Click on the Extensions icon > Click on the pin next to “Notify-Me for Zendesk”.
- Click on the Notify me icon > Type homebridge > Click Connect.
- Type in your Work email > Click Verify.
- You will receive a verification email from Notify-Me for Zendesk. It may take one minute. Check your junk folder if it’s not appearing.
- Type your verification code > Click Submit.
- Send an email to support@hbcx.zendesk.com with the following subject: Assign Notify Me license to (first name – last name)
Configuring "Notify Me" extension
- Click on the “notify Me” icon to open > Click on Viewing > Select your desired view to monitor. Notify Me will monitor the view you select. You will hear an audible & visual alert when a new ticket is received in the view.
- Click on the settings button.
- Enable Sound Alerts > Enable Browser Notifications > Adjust Sound Alerts Volume > Select your desired Sound Type.
- Click Back to return to main screen.
